The only imperfections were the timing of the Smores (ends at 9pm which is a little early especially if dinner takes long), there not being enough servers at the restaurant (therefore service taking too long), and the guys who worked the concierge desk were not helpful at all when asking about family friendly hikes in Yosemite (they recommended the typical flat, paved walks in the Valley, but we were looking for more off-the-beaten path hikes. We would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. Theres something timeless about a secluded lakeside getaway and trading your daily rush for a more relaxed pace. All food was good, and the variety was impressive (daily specials were very good). The park has 20 miles of hiking trails, the longest sledding magic carpet on the East Coast in the winter, a comfortable lodge and more. Sign in to get trip updates and message other travelers.
